Transformation digitale, culture & organisationThe digital transformation induced a new paradigm: skills are not and no longer sufficient. There are now multitudes of cultural and organizational changes that force companies to reinvent their models.

This transformation is of course technological, but not only! It is also marketing. The customer or user is no longer perceived in the same way and the company interacts more with him in order to co-create products and services for tomorrow.

The company must also adapt its organization! This transformation promotes an innovative, collaborative & agile environment, based on confidence and benevolence. Teams work in a cross-functional way and in integrated communities. It is no longer experience or stability that matters, but rather a culture that encourages, measures and rewards innovation. A particular attention is paid to the speed of the launching and learning rather than the planning and optimization.

 

ARROWMAN Key Insight

This culture, contrarily to the process of validation and traditional verifications, is difficult to share but nevertheless essential to successfully make this digital shift. In order to achieve this, Franck Pasquet recommends the establishment of:

1/ a T-Shape management

The T-shape is a transversal management model that encourages sharing and transferring knowledge on all levels of the organization, while rewarding individual’s expertise. It promotes collaboration, knowledge sharing and problem solving.

2/ a digital & entrepreneurial culture

Boosting personal exposure (individuals play a role in the implementation of dynamic communities) and risk-taking, this culture is a catalyst for innovation and economic growth.

3/ a merge of technology, marketing and business

In order to succeed, it is now indispensable to make the technological, marketing and business expertises coincide. Digitalization is not a goal but a means, a tool, a channel and a culture.
